Overview

**[177Lu]Lu-NeoB + temozolomide** is a combination investigational therapy comprising a radiolabeled GRPR-targeting peptide ([177Lu]Lu-NeoB) and the alkylating chemotherapy agent temozolomide. [177Lu]Lu-NeoB is a radiopharmaceutical that binds to gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR), which is expressed in various cancers, and delivers cytotoxic beta radiation via the lutetium-177 radionuclide, causing DNA damage and cancer cell death. Temozolomide is an oral alkylating agent that adds methyl groups to DNA, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing tumor cells. This combination is under investigation alongside radiotherapy for the treatment of newly diagnosed glioblastoma, aiming to improve tumor control by uniting targeted radioligand therapy with standard chemoradiation[1][2][4]. The combination is also being tested in clinical trials to determine its safety, efficacy, and optimal dosing.
